LETTER OF INTRODUCTION
(Confidential)
I am currently the Chief Nursing Officer for the new acute care California Rehabilitation Hospital in Century City / Beverly Hills, CA.
I was hired two and half years ago to open a new 138 bed acute care rehabilitation hospital in Southern California.
Utilizing my significant experience in Federal and State licensing requirements along with my knowledge of Los Angeles City/County construction, health, and other regulatory statues, I’m very proud of my accomplishments in opening this new hospital.
It was a challenge for sourcing and hiring personnel including nursing management, RNs, CNA’s, Case Managers, Therapists, Patient Liaisons and Ancillary Personnel. We are now staffed and have a current census of 90 patients.
My previous positions include:
-Chief Nursing Officer 2 years for a health care corporation with a 300 bed Full-Service Acute Care Hospital and two clinics. I supervised 14 Directors of Nursing and over 800 employees.
-6 six years as the Senior V.P. / CNO in South Texas where I supervise all patient care services for a 225 two hundred bed full service acute care hospital.
-12 years as Vice President of Patient Care / CNO in a California Medical Center that included a 225 bed acute care hospital, 99 bed LTC Facility, four outpatient clinics, and home health and hospice departments.
-Previous to that I was the Vice President of a health care corporation in Central California. I was responsible for all therapy services for 3 Acute Care Hospitals, 3 Long-Term Care Facilities, 1 Alzheimer Center, and 2 Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinics.
I have been in health care management for over 25 years at the Vice President / CNO level.
Sincerely,
Madonna K. Coughenour
