New Permittee: Search database to make sure not in database, then input all information, make folder, search for insurance and bond papers, pull from inactive or from present employer to enter all information and flag for printing. If all information is not up-to-date it goes in pending file.
Register Technicians for test
Previously registered: When application comes in, with picture, check to make sure they are not in system, if in system pull folder and update all information and schedule for next testing date. Then create letter and mail to POB. Create and email test roster to each district.
New Applicant: When application comes in, with picture, check to make sure they are not in system. Input all information, scan picture to file, make folder, schedule for next testing date, create letter and mail to POB. Create and email test roster to each district.
Give the test to technicians
Reserve auditorium if more than 10 testers, less than 10 use AES testing room.
Grade and send out technician cards
Double check and update all information from exam cover letter, grade test, and put grade in system. If passed flag for printing, if failed create letter letting POB know tech failed. If tech did not show send letter to POB stating no show.
Letters to companies to let them know when and where the test will be given
Letter to the companies if the technician that was registered to test didn't show up or if they fail
Enter the recertification for meetings
Approve and notify Laura and appropriate district.
Refund and underpays for both place of business and monthly reports
M & F will send notifying shortage or overage. Either cases look under TOOLS in online system and enter information from transmittal. If shortage, enter information, print form and mail to POB. If overage, enter information, print form and send to Becky Dupree in M & F.

Inputs and manages individual and company data (identification verification, contact information, financial responsibility, etc.) in the Pesticide Licensing and Certification application
Files paper copies of certification exams, university transcripts, exam score letters, card applications, and company license applications
Updates the LDAF web site calendar with conference information
Liaison between the PEP Program and the LDAF ITS
Beta-tests periodic updates to the computer application used for data management
Provides telephone support for the AES PEP Program and LDAF Executive staff as needed
Scans, copies, and mails (electronic and hardcopy) documents as needed
Seasonal Duties:
Prepares, prints, inserts, and mails annual Commercial Pesticide Applicator, Agricultural Consultant, and RUP Salesperson card renewal applications

Prepares lists of certified applicators by industry request
Prepares, prints, inserts, and mails Commercial Pesticide Applicator recertification meeting notices
Prepares, initiates, and completes Commercial Pesticide Applicator Reciprocity Agreements with other states
Inputs pesticide applicator recertification information in the Pesticide Licensing and Certification application
Inventories and orders supplies as needed – including exam supplies, multiple sizes of envelopes, blank cards, card printer ribbons, and Owner Operator equipment decals
Updates LDAF forms and letters as needed
Archives certification exams, card applications, and company license applications
Manages the registration desk for 500+ attendees at the Louisiana Vegetation Management Association annual meeting
