Summary : The main aim of this Project is to Model & Assemble the Piston, Connecting Rod & Crankshaft for a 4-stoke air-cooled 220cc Engine by theoretical calculations, perform Rigid dynamic, steady state thermal, Transient structural analysis & Modal Analysis and comparing the results by replacing the components with composite materials.

Internship Project:

Title : Experimental studies on performance and emission characteristics of biodiesel in C.I engine.

Organization: Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore Duration : One month

Summary : Petroleum products resources are limited and their consumption rate is increasing very fast with technological development since the last two decades. The emissions from the usage of these petroleum products pollute the environment considerably. So there is a need to find an alternate fuel. To the current situation Biodiesel serves a promising alternative fuel which possesses the characteristics of fossil Diesel. In the Current work enhancement in performance and emission standards of CI engine using Biodiesel and its blends have been discussed.
