EXPERIENCE

ZIBA WORK Greater Los Angeles, CA 2015 – 2018

As the President of Business Development and leader of this multi- national design build and product based organization I reached lofty goals including the first contract of over $500,000 within 6 months of operation. That was followed by Phase 1 and 2 agreements to deliver $5 million and

$20 million owner/rep management projects.

I was hired to build a new entity structured around teams of French and US professionals and companies serving the A/E/C industry. I signed the MOU in a chalet in the French Alps and continued strategically at the headquarters of a $60 million per year construction company nearby. After research and testing I integrated the team via a SaaS suite of tools including but not limited to a CRM, ERP, LAN and project management. I maintained effective communications across cultural, language and busi- ness process differences from US, French, Mexican-American, and Native American stakeholders.

I wrote, presented and closed the first contracts with a major Native American Tribe. We earned the title of Tribal representative regarding development of over 500 acres of land.

DESERT LIGHTNING Greater Los Angeles, CA 2014 – 2016 During this consultative and advisory period of my professional life I was invited to run a charitable organization. The organization would provide high level incubator tools and resources to the individuals who sought to change their lives through business ownership.

As the Executive Director of this 501(c)(3) I worked in conjunction with local chambers, Congressman Raul Ruiz, Senator Jeff Stone and Assembly sales, leader, strategy, strategic, strategist, marketing, marketing communications, business management, business strategies, business development, CEO, CIO, CMO, president, board member, chairman

Member Eduardo Garcia to serve a community of over 450,000 residents. Desert Lightning established new paradigms and expectations for a busi- ness incubator. We signed an MOU with the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership that provided credibility, support and much needed exposure. XFAN.TV Los Angeles, CA 2009 – 2011

As the Producer and Acting CEO I worked in a variety of capacities to build this new youtube channel. XFAN.TV was a scripted and live action show based on the lives and hijinks of extreme sports fans. I located, hired and managed talent and film crews. Signed sponsorships, co-produced over 600 live interviews and created branding, videos, written communications and collateral. I raised all the funding needed through a Private Placement Memoran- dum to build a sufficient book of examples and field testing feasibility. ENHANCED BOOKS Seattle, WA 2002 – 2008

This company is where I achieved significant success and experience with venture business models and global behemoths like Bertelsmann, Comcast and Viacom. I raised over $500,000 in private capital investments through a limited PPM.

Our primary patent pending offering had paired a physical product with an Internet application (Saas) and cloud service. Hybridizing printed books with digital content and delivering them to the end consumer as a single purchase was our mission. In the days before now ubiquitous tablets this was a product that was truly ahead of its time. The world’s largest independent bookstore, Powell’s Books, helped introduce to Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster, Random House and many major publishers and media giants.

We were fortunate to have critical access, but convincing publishers that the Internet was going to “be around in 10 years” was indicative of the uncertainty the average business person held towards the Internet at that time.

I took advantage of mentoring from Web Trends, fresh off their raising a round of $14m. We focused on technology and international patent filings. We test marketed some “enhanced books” like the very successful and profitable Reckless Road: Guns N Roses and the making of Appetite for Destruction, the highest selling GNR book of all time. Collectors Press published 6 successful books using our enhanced books system and brand.

As the face of the company I traveled the world attending the largest publishing industry trade shows in Frankfurt, New York City and Tokyo. PERSONAL

England to high school in Izmir, Turkey

My avocation as a FINE ART photog-

rapher since I was 13 is the longest

example of my creative side along with

lished, exhibited and sold for years.

I hold 4 Black Belts in MARTIAL ARTS

and have crossed trained in 10 other

styles. I taught with the Counsel on Law

Enforcement Education and Training, the

OSB, the Secret Service and the FBI.

Awarded the Silver Medal for Indepen-

dent PUBLISHER of the Year. Currently

writing an anecdotal, motivational and

humorous book about my professional

and personal life entitled Visible Sin.
