• Assisted Hand surgeon in the OR and in the clinic with various hand, wrist, and elbow problems. Saw postop, follow up, and new patients along with the surgeon. Responsible for patient calls pertaining to medically related issues.

• Assisted one surgeon in clinic and the OR dealing strictly with Workers Comp and MVA cases involving shoulder and knee problems. Rothman Institute Urgent Care (Marlton)

• Working with a Sports Medicine Surgeon, I ran my own clinic three days a week treating sports medicine related injuries involving new, postop, and follow up patients. Evaluated patients with cervical and lumbar spine complaints. Also performed spine examinations to discern if the etiology of the patient’s complaint is due to spine issues.
• First assistant to the surgeon in the OR two days weekly on various sports related injuries, involving mostly arthroscopic and open surgery of shoulders and knees, repairing tears involving the rotator cuff, labrum, meniscus, tendons, and ligaments.
• Prepared both soft tissue and BTB auto and allografts for ACL reconstruction.
• Also first assisted in TKR, TSA, and Reverse TSA.
• Completed fascia, subcutaneous, and subcuticular closures.
• Reviewed X-rays, MRI and CT scans along with the patient and explained what they were viewing so that they had a better understanding. I answered all their questions and developed a rapport with them.
