PROJECTS
analyzing fat-soluble vitamins using different methods, Chicago, il Janauray 2018-May 2018
•Initiated a project to develop a testing process for all fat-soluble vitamins in foods using analytical methods
•Researched and operated Thin layer Chromatography, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatography instrument, and simulated Mass Spectrometry-based methods to identify and quantify Vitamin A,D,E and K values in certain foods
utilizing renewable energy to replace fossil fuel energy, Chicago, il August 2017-December 2017
•Led a group of 3 researchers to determine main factors of climate change because of excessive carbon dioxide emissions from original fossil fuel energy plants, and used wind and solar energy replacing fossil fuel by contrasting each pullution CO2 emissions level, equipment cost, and land legal restrictions
•Improved wind and solar energy technology from boiling to radiant heating, and calculated the solar collectors to reduce energy plant cost; increased efficiency of convertion by selecting different latitudes based on regional features, and solved land restrictions by analyzing laws in various countries and states
WORK EXPERIENCE
Hunan HaiDe pharmaceutical trade company, Hunan, China Summer 2017
Sourcing Intern
Coordinated with a medical sourcing group to investigate cervical cancer vaccine technology, andevaluated market potential and market size in China
ontacted Watson Biotech Company to obtain the retail authorization Cervarix HPV vaccine inHunan Province
Webster University, St.louis, MO August 2016-December 2016
Research Assistant
Initiated a laboratory experiment with Professor Krueger to test metal corrosion rates in different environments, and estimated additional factors of corrosions to the offshore oil platform
Utilized spectrophotometer to measure the light transmittance of the solution after the color change because of the corrosion of metal in simulating seawater solution
Visualized the relationship between light transmittance and the corrosion rate, and analyzed the data to demonstrate the impacts of solution concentration of seawater, air, light and wind power on the corrosion to drilling platforms
Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd, Beijing, China March 2012-May 2012
Signal Engineer Intern
•Collected data on the transmission quality of mobile signals, and identified the weak signal area in10 kilometers of Huawei's Beijing headquarter
•Tested CDMA and GSM signal interface in different stations, and analyzed the digital signal datato improve weak signal using simulations in Matlab
