ACADEMIC PROJECTS

FEA analysis of leaf spring using ANSYS (August 2017)

oDesigned single leaf spring with both structured steel and composite material.

oTotal change in maximum displacement, stress, strain and factor of safety has been analyzed.

oProved that effectiveness of composite leaf spring has been optimized by reduced weight of 60%.

Analysis of Forced Convective Heat transfer using CFD in a pipe (August 2017 - December 2017)

Designed and analyzed how cooling rate varied by varying the design parameters of rod and fins.

Design of Radiator Tank using CATIA v5 (Jan 2017)

Designed a detailed model of radiator tank cover in CATIA v5 and assembled inner and outer body designed in part design.

Nondestructive testing of metals (December 2014)

Vickers hardness was tested on aluminum specimen. Hardness of aluminum is increased by varying the amount of fly ash.

Analysis of Exhaust manifold using Computational fluid dynamics (B.E project) (January 2015 - May 2015)

Analyzed a finite element model of an exhaust manifold and suggested a design change by studying the pressure and velocity distribution along the manifold to increase the life time and efficiency.
