I started in the Emergency Department admitting area on weekends checking patients in, which consisted of obtaining their demographic and insurance information, then informing the triage nurse of their arrival. I then started fulltime in the ED performing the same duties. Soon after, I was moved to the main registration area admitting inpatient and outpatient customers fulltime. I was also responsible for relieving people in the ED and on the switchboard.
