Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:

Team leader in the area of case management, E-Discovery, and litigation support in the Office of the Chief Counsel, Comptroller of the Currency. Provide expert advice to management, attorneys, investigators, bank examiners and other Legal staff members on the proper handling of evidentiary data for litigation cases. Recommend policies and procedures in accordance with Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) guidelines and within the confines of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP). Major Duties:

• Respond to subpoenas, Congressional inquiries, Freedom of information Act inquiries, and production requests. ESI liaison in Rule 26(f) conferences and early case assessment meetings. Represent the agency in 30(b)(6) depositions and at trial.

• Implement procedures related to the collection, storage, recovery, analysis, review and production of ESI to opposing counsel.

• Perform forensic acquisition and analysis of suspect systems and extract responsive data for use in investigations and discovery.

• Work closely with the IT department in evaluating new releases of software that increase the efficiency of the legal case document management process.

• Act as Federal Acquisitions Contracting Officer’s Representative (FAC-COR Level II) lead and participate in all aspects of the contracting process. Devise selection factors for technology contracts, task order development, statement of work and performance-based contracting for litigation support systems, trial presentation, digital forensics, court reporting and other outsourcing services.

• Keep abreast of new technologies and processes, including Technology Assisted Review (TAR), predictive coding, concept searching and visualization tools and implement the use thereof.

• Provide training in the use of litigation tools as well as advise on document review techniques to lawyers, paralegals and other staff members

• Supervise and communicate goals/objectives to project managers and staff members and oversee the successful completion of the work assignments in an environment with varying time constraints and demanding schedules.

• Perform additional assignments requested by the Chief Counsel, other management officials, or designees. Prepare case management budget.
