Work experience as a PG trainee in Radiology (Jun 2015-Jul 2018):

Experience in large volume reporting of radiographs/ special procedures.

Ample experience in performing and reporting number of mammograms with additional seven day course for the same at the prestigious SGPGI, Lucknow.

Performed and interpreted large number of USG studies of various body parts

(abdominal, small parts, MSK, Trans-cranial, TVS) on a daily basis in all 3 years of PG training.

Good knowledge of obstetric scans with ample hands on experience in fetal anomaly scans.

Well versed with colour Doppler studies.

I am well versed with CT and MRI reporting with hands on experience of reporting over 3000 CT as well as a similar number of MRI studies during PG training itself under the able guidance of my consultants. I was blessed with this great opportunity as there were only two residents per batch. I have reported various kinds of CT studies including angiograms. I have reported various MRI studies such as brain, head and neck, spine, MRCP, abdomen, MSK (including, knees, shoulder, ankle, brachial plexus etc), breast and been exposed to cardiac MRIs too.

Exposure to various non-vascular and vascular interventions like PTBD and RF Ablation of varicose veins.

I have keen eye for details which has helped in improving patient outcomes with accurate and detailed interpretations of radiology data.

I have good communication skills with patients as well as staff including technicians and fellow doctors from other departments.

Worked as short service commissioned medical officer in Indian Army from 2009 to 2014 in the ranks of Captain and Major.

Gained tremendous experience of working and saving patients (soldiers) under arduous weather conditions and difficult terrains limited facilities that has helped me turn into a responsible and more confident individual/doctor as well as develop a sense of working as a team with staff members.
