Seamlessly integrated into new role as Environmental, Health & Safety Manager at a coal-fired electric power plant after all prior experience was in the semiconductor and aerospace industries. Amended the site’s Air, Wastewater, Storm water Permits, as well as the SPCC, RMP, PSM & CCR plans. Developed a training matrix to provide guidance to the site regarding ongoing and upcoming training to meet regulatory and internal requirements, including updated OSHA regulations. Created a mass balance database, for all products used on site, that dissected all chemical constituents into regulatory categories (ex. EPCRA 313, TIER II etc.), CAS numbers, air emission factors, reportable quantities and waste codes. Obtained Six Sigma Green Belt and participated on the site Water Conservation Greenbelt team, which resulted in $100K annual savings and a 23% reduction (>10,000,000 gallons/year) in water usage.
