Project 1: Sales Finance – V2R Report Migration (January 2018 – Till Date) [Test Analyst]

Client – Barclays (Pune-India)

Description:

Barclays Sales Finance legacy application named VAX will be decommissioned in 2019 and migrated to existing application RFP. VAX is used for client and debtor on boarding, processing invoice discounting products, adding invoices and credit notes and generating/ maintaining reports for client and internal audit purposes. All the functionalities of VAX are being migrated to RFP. This project consists of migration of VAX reports to RFP.

Project 2: Sales Finance - Structural Reform Program (September 2015 – December 2017) [Test Analyst]

Client – Barclays (Pune-India)

Description:

In response to the financial crisis, a number of domestic and international reforms to bank regulation have been introduced or are currently being implemented. These reforms seek to improve the resilience of banks, including through making changes to their structure. In SRP, Impact analysis of the existing Sales Finance system is performed and tested.

Responsibilities:

Analyzing Business Requirements: Performing requirement feasibility analysis and identified test scenarios/test objectives

Designing and executing test cases: Identifying end-to-end test cases, regression suites and system test cases along with test data. Executing Smoke and Sanity tests.

Reviewing Test Cases & Conditions: Documenting test cases and performing peer reviews.

Defect Management: Contributing to the preparation of the defect management, communication and Test scope sections of the test plan.

Defect Triage: Performing Defect triage and assigning or rejecting the defects based on the findings.

Test Coverage: Creating a Trace-ability Matrix to ensure 100% test coverage

PortfolioBuilder is a tool of Capital One Investing site for self-directed investors that can help them create a whole ETF portfolio based on their investment style, using asset allocation models

Responsibilities:

Performed feasibility analysis for the user stories in the Product backlog and identified test scenarios/test objectives

Participated in Daily scrum meetings

Performed elaborate functional testing for PortfolioBuilder module along with exploratory testing of the entire site. Also worked on test scenario maintenance when necessary.

Responsible for Smoke and Sanity test.
