Recent efforts have been directed towards consulting work in the Environmental, Engineering, Surface Water, Mining, Water Usage, Wetland Resources Permitting, Code Enforcement, Urban Environments, Hydrology, and Structural Geologic fields, with Photo Geology (Remote Sensing), Coastal Environments, Soils Mechanics, Water and Air Pollution, and Bio-Remediation projects, and etc., in hands-on management and administration positions. Accomplishments Include

Participation in drilling over 5000 wells and environmental projects, and licensing thereof, with groundwater (aquifer) modeling, air quality monitoring and enforcement, asbestos removal, and hazardous materials assessment and removal, ARCLA and CERCLA compliance, from 1968 to present. Implemented considerable savings on companies’ annual budgets and took one company public in 1980.

Field audits, Wetland Resource Permitting, Surveying Lands, Waste Management; Environmental Permitting; Regulatory Agency Interfacing (state and federal), from 1983 to present, with considerable success and excellent results.

Developed solid business growth skills; strategic planning; computer analysis; budgeting and cost control (under budget10 years in succession) and interpersonal skills during tenure with these two companies.

Publication of detailed ground water study, Urban Geology of Greater Waco, Part III; Water, Subsurface Waters of Waco (1974), this urban/environmental (a pioneer thesis in this field) study contributed to two contracts for ground water drilling and utility works in both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in 1987 and 1988, as well as to countless municipal and private wells in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Florida and Louisiana over the last three decades.

Consulting Geo-Hydrologist/Environmental Specialist, in Central and South Florida and the Gulf Coast from Texas to Florida.

November 1982 to August 1993

Bison Companies; V.P. and Chief Geologist/Hydrologist/Environmental Specialist. Conducted and managed environmental/ geological assessments on Galveston County and Island, in Corpus Christy and Sinton, Texas. Conducted hazardous/non-hazardous material field investigations requiring air, soil and groundwater assessment, sampling, monitoring well and recovery well installation, soil boring installation, field testing, hydro-geological analysis and data reduction. Preliminary environmental site assessment related to surface contamination and appropriate report generation. Provided aquifer remediation system design using state-of-the-art treatment, oversaw system performance and site remediation. Monitored well surveying, groundwater modeling, and analysis of groundwater flow pattern and prepared contour maps. Report writing included initial site characterization, comprehensive site assessment, above and below ground tank closure report and corrective action plans.

July 1977 to November 1982

Nicklos Oil and Gas Co., (formerly Bradco Oil and Gas Co.); Chief Geologist and Exploration Manager, V.P.Operations. Managed company’s properties and generated drilling prospects for all Gulf Coast Areas from Texas to Florida. Took company public and raised 75 and 125 million in consecutive years.

Tesoro Petroleum Corporation, South Louisiana Division; Senior Exploration Geologist in charge of South Louisiana and South East Region.

April 1976 to October 1976

Key Drill, (Gulf Exploration and Minerals), attached to V.P. Brazil, as technical liaison between company and Petrobras (Brazilian National Oil Company).
