Richa & Company, New Delhi (Nov 2011 to Jan 2014) as FABRIC SOURCING EXECUTIVE with following roles & responsibilities :
• Sourcing the fabric from mills in India like Alok, Vardhman, Arvind, Bombay Rayon, Ram Kumar Mills, K.G.Denim & Nandan Denim and abroad from China & Korea keeping in mind the target price & delivery
• All price negotiations with the mill.
• Placing the order with the mills.
• Ensuring timely delivery & approval from the local buying house.
• Resolving all the quality & other issues with the mills & customer
• Following up for the payment issues like L/C, Imported bills etc.
• Testing the fabric for various parameters like Dry Crocking, Wet Crocking and Color Fastness to Washing etc.
• Checking quality of new samples with help of in-house testing labs.
• Follow-up of Status & Approval of L/d, S/off, Initial & Bulk.
• Resolving & informing suppliers & all other concerned in case of any fabric problems.
• Going to buying office for approvals & new developments.
• Matching of L/d, Initial Bulk & Bulk lot before sending to the Merchant / Buyer.
• Getting the approved fabric in house on time.
