I received my undergraduate (MBBS) degree from J N Medical college Wardha mahharshtra and postgraduate (MD Radiodiagnosis) medical training at J N Medical college KLE University with Dr Prabhakar Kore hospital Belgaum Karnataka, one of the premiere medical Institutes of India. The Institute is a tertiary medical care center for the State of Karnataka, with inpatient bed strength of 2400. During my residency in Radiodiagnosis, I underwent training in all major sub-specialties of the subject including X Rays, fluoroscopy, USG & Colour doppler, CT and MRI. Being a tertiary level institute there was exposure to all kinds of common and rare entities. During my post graduation I have also undergone a certificate course in basic life support in the same institute.
MD THESIS
My dissertation for the award of Doctorate of Medicine (Radiodiagnosis) was “Role of 64 slice MDCT pulmonary angiography in evaluation of pulmonary artery anatomy in children with cyanotic congenital heart disease and comparision with 2D echocardiography” The project was undertaken over a period of 1 year and 10 months between January 2016 and Oct 2017. The study involved 25 patients with congenital heart disease that were subjected to 64 slice MDCT pulmonary angiography in dept of radiodiagnosis J N medical college Belgaum. The patients were also subjected to 2D echocardiography in the dept of paediatrics. The findings of both the investigations were compared statistically and results were obtained as MDCT being a better modality for evaluation of pulmonary artery anatomy in children with cyanotic congenital heart disease.

I would like to continue pursuing General radiology with a special interest in cross sectional imaging. In addition I am interested in research. I also enjoy teaching and am interested in academics. Professionally I aim to be a competent Radiologist with patients well being as my priority. Ten years from now I see myself involved in practice with newer modalities and research. I have and will learn over the years.
