Portion managed was valued at approximately $700 million, and included the Spa Tower, pool deck including four swimming pools and related structures, restaurants, VIP gaming and hospitality areas, and many of the hotel/casino support areas, such as the loading docks, warehouse, main kitchen, electrical and mechanical rooms, and parking. Total size of area of responsibility was approx. 1.5 million sf. Responsibilities included all aspects of construction management. Supervision of office and jobsite staff, including superintendents, other project managers, project engineers, project administrators, project accountants, and assistants. Procurement of subcontractors to perform work – bidding, MGM Design Group recommendation/approval process, writing and implementing subcontracts, and subcontract closeout.
