Invoice Payment Processing System

As an Enterprise Center, the FSC offers commercial invoice processing services. FSC’s current Invoice Payment Processing System is primarily comprised of its Document Management System (DMS), FSC SQL-Invoice Database (SID) business rules engine, OLCS, Ascent, FMS and a Computer Assisted Payment Processing System (CAPPS). On an average, the FSC processes one million invoices a year, with 25 percent (250,000) of the annual volume processed manually.

IPPS process automates the payments for invoices of various vendors associated to all the veteran stations in the United States. IPPS process is a replacement of existing legacy system developed in .NET. IPPS process also helps in financial management system to reduce the interests paid to vendors and pay the invoices on time.

The Fee Program is an umbrella for a number of programs supplementing the VA provided care to eligible veterans.
