PROJECT DETAILS

TITLE: DURABILITY PROPERTIES OF CONCRETE CONTAINING HYBRID MINERAL ADMIXTURES AND M-SAND

DESCRIPTON: The main aim of the project is to minimise the use of cement and river sand in the concrete by the partial replacement of Micro silica and M-sand respectively. Durability studies such as water abdorption, porosity,permeability,sorptivity, and corrosion were studied.The use of fly ash in the concrete leads to strength gain at later stage.In order to obtain the strength and durability properties during the early stage micro silica is added.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITES

Presented a paper in Sona College of Technology, Salem on “TRENCHLESS TECHNOLOGY”.

Presented a display model about “Earthquake resistant building” at project based learning skill competition as a part of science and technology fair.
