field operations. Turn up, testing and maintaining local and long distance fiber optic transmission systems.
Infinera, AT&T, Nortel 192s, Fujitsu, NEC OC3, OC12, OC48, and OC192 running on WDM and DWDM and
Nortel OC3, OC12, OC48 running on FD192 pump lasers, and Cisco 454s with previous experience on
Northern Telecom. Proficient in provisioning 1631 DACS and M13-Muxs. Installed all Juniper and Cisco routers for remote alarms and access for remote testing. Maintained all power systems (DC power plant) and emergency power systems (UPS and emergency generators). Recipient of 2001 Midwest Territory Star Performer Award for creating FDP/WDM fiber labeling system which was implemented nationwide.
