Managing implementation of Information Security Solutions to protect a large European Bank's IT assets as CISO (Chief Information Security Office) working in coordination with Global IT Infrastructure team, application owners, Database Administrators, and external vendors.
Instituted the “Deployment Process” by creating of an automated Releases Plan (using Excel VBA) that organises activities like application downtime planning, conflict analysis, escalation process, deployment contacts, checklist preparation, final validation and reduces the overall deployment effort by 40%
Conceptualized and created “Auto Scheduler” using Excel VBA that analyses data from SharePoint table and on click of a button prepares scope schedule with either pre-set or custom set conditions & parameters. This automation reduces the initial scope planning effort by 50% before CISO team can collaborate with other stakeholders (application team/ Global IT) to plan draft project sprints (scheduling future deployments)
Effective coordination with Change Management team, Release management team, DBA, and Application owners to agree on deployment schedule
