EDUCATION

M.S. Computer Science University of Houston May 2018 GPA : 3.4/4.0 B.E. Computer Science JNTUA University, India June 2016 GPA : 3.5/4.0 SKILL SET

Programming Java, C#, Python, C, C++, R, Scala, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Frameworks and Databases ASP.NET, Angular 5, JUnit. Spring, Oracle, MySQL. EXPERIENCE

Application Developer, University of Houston July 2017 – May 2018

• Created a teacher evaluation portal, which is actively being used by over 20,000 students each semester.

• A .NET backend was used along with Angular 4 to achieve reusable, data driven and modular framework.

• Designed and developed a 3-tier application using Singleton and Factory Design Patterns.

• The application contains two modules namely admin and job applicant. Students can apply for jobs, search their profile and update it where as the admin can manage proctors.

• Implemented in ASP.NET, JavaScript and jQuery.

Software Developer Intern, Bharat Electronics Limited, India May 2016 – July 2016

• Worked on redesign of company website using ASP.NET MVC, C#.

• Increased average number of hits by 40% and significant increase in per user browse time.

• Assisted in design, development of database – set up regular updates and cleanups.

• Implemented database refresh using full export for table level and full database defragmentation (reorg) resulting in improved performance and effective space management. PROJECTS

Cache Performance Management(C/C++, PAPI library)

• Interpretation in Miss rate between L1 and L2 cache

• Given a source code for matrix multiplication for different block sizes and different dimensions, determine the performance for Level 1 and Level 2 cache in terms of cache miss rate and execution time. Also, measuring the number of branches correctly predicted and stall cycles produced for a execution. These measurements were performed for at least 3 times. And observations were inferred statistically. Reinforcement Learning - Learning Paths using Q - Learning and SARSA(Java, Swing)

• Solved a Pick-up and Drop-off(PD) delivery transport problem where agent learns and adapt “promising paths” by itself to pick-up blocks from pickup locations and deliver to drop off locations using reinforcement learning.

• Analyzed results by changing various parameters to see how well the agent performs with different policies, learning and discount rate.

Travelling Salesman Problem(Java)

• Implemented Heuristic search strategy(A-Star) to solve the N cities Travelling Salesman Problem.

• Used Genetic, Simulated Annealing algorithms to improve the exponential time complexity caused by A Star. Discovering Functional Dependencies and Certifying Normal Forms with SQL Queries, Database Systems

• First, Second, Third Normal form concept in Database System implementation in Java with Postgres SQL using Vertica tool.
