1976- 1978 Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma.

PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

2015-present Per Diem pharmacist for UCSD outpatient clinics working for

Rx- Relief corp.

1990- 2015 Clinical Specialist at the Veterans Hospital San Diego, California. Duties include both ambulatory and inpatient pharmacy practice. In addition, I provided clinical consultation to psychiatry residents, medical, pharmacy and nursing student and attending Psychiatrist. Lectures to first year Psychiatry residents and 3rd year pharmacy students. Utilizing clinical privileges granted by the department of psychiatry act as psychiatry care provider conduct medication clinics for outpatient psychiatry. Actively involved in multiple clinical trials (see below). Active in education programs for the University of California at San Diego. the University of the Pacific and the University of Southern California.

1988-1989 Clinical Pharmacist and Medicine Section Supervisor for Pharmacy at the VA Medical Center San Diego, California. Duties included clinical consultation service for all medical staff including attending, residents and medical students. Preceptor for pharmacy students and residents from the University of Southern California and the University of the Pacific. .Supervisor for staff of 11 pharmacist and technicians working on the 3rd floor Medicine service. During that time I was also responsible for the implementation and design of a Home IV Service for the Veterans Hospital.

1987-1988 Psychiatry Section Supervisor, at the VA Medical Center San Diego. My duties included the design and implementation of an outpatient psychiatry clinic in which pharmacist were granted clinical privileges. Set up a pharmacy satellite to concentrate on geriatric psychiatry Developed policy and procedure for clinics, rounded weekly with psychiatry staff. Member of interdisciplinary committees throughout the hospital.

1985-1987 Clinical pharmacist, at the VA Medical Center San Diego. Duties included in-service education to student (pharmacy, nursing and medical), writing of policy and procedure and a variety of clinical practice experiences.

1983-1985 Pharmacy manager, and clinical pharmacist for Shield Healthcare Center in Berkeley California. Provided a full range of services

to patients in a home setting( pain control, hyperalimentation, and drug information services).

1983-1985 Clinical consultant to Alameda County and Oakland Visiting Nurse Hospice agency.
