Project Highlights
Managed ICD-10 project from initiation to deployment over a three year time period. The purpose of the project was to evaluate fields for inpatient and outpatient billing formats (including interfaces) for potential changes for regulatory compliance. It included more than 20 applications.
Managed third party vendor claim editing software upgrades, working with the Business and IT Clinical teams to determine software customizations and acting as liaison with the vendor to resolve software issues during testing.
Worked with a vendor with limited time and resources. In order to minimize IT project hours and accommodate the vendor team, Took charge in organizing one weekly meeting in which all aspects of the project could be discussed within one time frame.
This process improvement saved close to $1K weekly for a project totaling $ 24K in 2016.
