EMPLOYMENT:
-Punxsutawney Area Hospital, (11/11/11 to present). I work as a CRNP in the Hospitalist program & work occasionally in the Emergency room. I am also a clinician in the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic that is associated with Allegheny General Hospital.
-Allegheny Health Network; Cardiovascular Institute, (03/01/12 to present). I work part time as a cardiologist nurse practitioner for Dr. Zuhdi Dajani. I see patients in the office monitoring surveillance as well as see patients acutely in the hospital in consultation. I work closely with the cardiologist from Allegheny General Hospital.
-Family Health Center; Dr. Phillip States. (3/09/15 to present). I currently work here part time in primary Care. I see everything from new born children to the elderly. I do assist Dr. States in seeing acute patients in the hospital as well.
-Penn Highlands Pediatrics, (2/13/09 to 4/26/16). I worked part time at this pediatric office assessing sick children and performing physicals. I also prescribe medications for pediatric patients.
-Dubois Regional Medical Center, (9/30/02 to 11/09/11). I started working in the CVU as a staff nurse. I then started doing relief charge nurse. I also was a preceptor of new hires & was involved with staff training with the medical/surgical nurses. I also would occasionally function as the facility supervisor. I obtained my CRNP & continued to work for DRMC Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery Group.
Dubois Nursing Home, (09/30/02 to 09//27/04). Part time night facility supervisor. Responsible for assuring appropriate implementation of care plan by LVN’s and CNA’s over 150+ residents. Performed assessments, called physicians, obtained lab specimens, and was responsible for dayshift staffing.
-HCA of El Paso, (08/04/1998 to 09/27/02). I was originally hired as a new graduate nurse on the medical floor. As I grew professionally, I became the charge nurse of the medical floor while providing direct patient care. I also assisted in data collection for quality improvement reports. I was cross trained to ICU/CCU worked there from September 2000 until September of 2002. I acquired my ACLS and was a member of the code team. I was occasionally in charge of the unit and preceptor of new hires to the unit.
