The modular multilevel converter (MMC) is one of the most advanced multi-level topologies that have gained increasing attention recently. In addition to an inverter in a renewable energy system, capacitor banks or STATCOMs are needed to compensate the reactive power of the grid. In this a novel single-phase MMC-based inverter with STATCOM capability for grid connection is proposed

Completed my major project on “ELECTRICAL POWER GENERATION IN THERMAL POWER PLANT”.

Description :

In a thermal power station fuel such as coal, oil or gas is burned in a furnace to produce heat energy. This heat is used to change water into steam in the boiler. This drives the generator to produce electricity by converting kinetic energy to electrical energy. Achievements:

Participated in “SCIENCE FAIR AND SOCIAL EXHIBITION” on “Maya Calendar” stood second in school level.

Organised MIND POWER WORKSHOP at my college.
