Procurement Manager

Play a key role in company as Procurement Manager; monitor more than $150 million worth of procurements and administer signing process of all contracts for procurement. Direct project and streamline overall operations including costs, quality, scheduling, financial and technical performance requirements as per general policy and objectives and guaranteed the delivery of project in timely manner. Streamline and implement the direct procurement of tunnel ventilation system.

Key Accomplishments:

Signed contracts for direct procurement of The tunnel ventilation system for a volume of 10 million Euros.

Successfully signed contract for hiring of buses in order to sustain company reputation and standard.

Acted as a focal point in negotiation process of contracts for hiring equipment, tools and PPE saving from 20% to 30% on the normal price.

Derived from new supplier for cables saving 40% on costs also heavy equipment hiring achieving a saving of 20%.

Build strong business relationship with a new supplier for tool machines with a 3 year no repair cost clause.

Designed direct procurement strategy from suppliers for a volume of over 16 million Euros within a deadline of 6 months also applied ‘First in Last out’ strategy for PPE and chemicals.

Cegelec is a French electrical engineering company, the energy division of Vinci.

Joined as Project Buyer in 2007 & Promoted to Electrical Procurement Manager in 2009

Streamlined operational processes at a senior level in order to administer a procurement of 20 million Euros PA. Supervised procurement process and oversaw the import component of 40% from Spain, France, UK, Germany, Turkey, and Slovenia. Efficiently ran the process of risk management assessment in order to evaluate the risk of a supply failure. Established contingency plans and taking pro-active action in order to eliminate the risk. Oversaw and handled a total volume of 25 million Euros worth of procurement for different projects in Morocco.
