•Trained in textile software Pointcarre’ design, Arah weave and Arah Print Design, NedGraphic Print, Wilcom Embroidery Software, Ethos Laser cutting Software, Illustrator and Photoshop.

•Good knowledge of both weaved and printed textiles.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN TEXTILE DESIGNING FIELD

May 2014-Oct 2015, Senior Textile Designer at “KAS Australia” Dubai

KAS Australia is one of the leading brands amongst the high-end home textile companies in Dubai. I got to explore my design aspects and knowledge to newer horizons and

culture. I worked with a multinational staff and it helped me to learn more about

different ethical ways to create a design for a multicultural audience. I grew more as an artist coming from a background of both ethnic and modern designs.

Feb 2016-Present, Consulting as a senior designer for KAS Australia from Michigan, USA. My responsibilities towards the company remain the same.

July 2015-Oct 2015, Creative Designer for Salut Maroc in Essaouira, Morocco

Creative designer for Salut Maroc Beaute’ Hotel in Essaouira. This was a co-project of KAS Australia Company. The company’s head-designer and I along with other fine art art-ists from Italy and Paris created eccentric designs for the interiors for the hotel. We our-selves resided in Essaouira for 3 months to create designs on walls and ceilings and also designed zellige for the flooring and walls for the hotel. It was an extraordinary journey for me as I got a chance to travel and experience new culture which I always look forward to.

Oct 2012- Oct 2013, Merchandiser in “Anstey Printers” Nottingham, UK

I worked as a Merchandiser with Anstey Printer for a year. It was a university placement job in which only 6 students on merit bases got an opportunity to work with Anstey Wall-papers Company in Nottingham, UK. I was studying my master’s degree in UK while I was working on this ideal job opportunity in which I was asked to design visual graphic plans for producing sales projects. This job taught me to create concepts each season with recommendations regarding the graphic looks for monthly deliveries and research into current graphic trends and communicating these trends to the design and buying teams in particular time frame and in a particular order according to the UK market standards.

Apr 2011-Mar 2012, Assistant Merchandiser in “Alokh Textiles” India

I was an assistant merchandiser in Alokh Company, Mumbai (India) in which my job

involved creating designs and analyzing of fabrics and samples for home and fashion textiles. It is one of the largest textile companies in India where I got to learnt a lot about industrial work ethics, time management and to research into current trends with the team of professional designers by visiting manufacturers and suppliers.

Jun 2010-Oct 2010, Designer in “Delhi Metro Designing Company” India

Delhi Metro Designing Company was a leading Indian Government project (2010-11) in which designers were given work to design Asia's famous "Common-Wealth games" whole wardrobe for their colleagues and participants and I was one of their designers.” This was a college placement (Sir J. J. School of Fine Arts College, India's only leading college of fine arts) from which I got an opportunity to work on this ideal government project in which we had to produce a surface designs for shirting and suiting with 3

distinct colors palettes for both male and female staff. Design set of traditional saris with 3 different compositions for the employees accordingly. Thus to support our designs we had to create graphic designs, hand-painted designs and practical samples.

Oct 2016- Present, Taking sewing lessons to enhance my visual knowledge about textile designs’ placements considering the final textile product.
