Description: Wire EDM is typically used to cut plates as thick as 300mm and to make punches, tools, and dies from hard metals that are difficult to machine with other methods.

The main objective of this project to study the effects of various WEDM input and output parameters to increase the machine performance by increase metal removal rate and decrease surface roughness.

2.“Cell formation techniques” using cellular manufacturing. Duration: 6 months

Team Size: 4 members

Role :Team member of the project.

Description: The main objective of this project to study various cell formation techniques to increase production, machine and labour utilization by reducing the setup time, lead time and waiting time.

Achievements:

1.Got Excellency in workshop on “Catia” conducted by IIT Bhubaneswar.

2.Got Excellency in workshop on “hyper works” conducted by IIT Bhubaneswar.

Industrial Exposure:

Undergone Three Month Internship programme in Rockwell Industries LTD, Hyderbad,A.P Undergone One Month Training programme in Vizag Steel Plant, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Extra-curricular Activities:

1.Participated in International conference “ICRACM” conducted by IIT Guwahati.

2.Participated in “YANTRIK” a national level technical fest.
