From the ages of ten to twenty one, I worked in my family’s restaurants and bars, working in the front of the house and back of the house. After graduating culinary school, I cooked on the line for Avenue B in Philadelphia for over one year. Then I worked for P.F. Changs in Marlton, NJ, as a cook for almost a year. I then went back to college and received my associate degree in business management. At the age of twenty-four I managed over ten people, while I helped take a local title insurance company to a regional, then from a regional to a national by using positive reinforcement, team building and knowledge of the various departments. By incorporating these three skill sets, I originated the policies and procedures for numerous departments and created the managerial policies and procedures for the various departments, which increased productivity and team unity. In addition to working for American Income Life I was also a real estate and business development consultant for a real estate development company in Philadelphia by assisting them in developing policies and procedures as well as identifying distressed and non distressed residential and commercial real estate to acquire using strict investment criteria. I negotiated the sales price as well as entering into agreement of sales.
Due to my eclectic background in management, business, creating policies and procedures, an incredible understanding of the four aspects of how a real estate transaction works and restaurant background, I know that I can add value to any company.
