ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Crime and Education Analysis: Developed an analysis project using R language (dplyr, tidyr, ggplot2) along with statistical methods to calculate the how education impacts Crime in US. The factors involved in the determination were Education rate, Poverty rate, age, Gini index etc.

Restaurant Reviews: Developed an analysis project using Python Language (numpy,panda,scikit learn). This project focused on Natural Language processing followed by machine learning techniques for estimating positive and negative reviews of the restaurants.

Un-insured Rate Analysis: Developed an analysis report using statistical methods to calculate the Un-insured rate of people across U.S. The analysis was done using Employment rate, poverty rate, median, age,etc. The project mainly comprised of Regression Analysis, scatter plots, descriptive statistics, heat maps and hypothesis testing. The project was made using R language (dplyr, tidyr, ggplot2).

Social Media Analytics: Analyzed Instagram data to extract data on photos, likes, followers, comments and photo tags using queries in MySQL and AWS Cloud9. Analyzed by writing complex SQL queries using complex joins, grouping, aggregation, nested subqueries, cursors, views and Triggers.

Talent Acquisition Analysis: Created a dashboard using Tableau. The project mainly focused on gathering information regarding talent requirements in multiple domains of the organization and predicting the future requirements for the organization.
