JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Presently, I am working with M/S Munjal Auto Industries Ltd., (MAIL) as a production engineer (PAINT SHOP) since November 2015 to till date.
Daily Monitoring of productionTargets as per customer Requirements with specified quality and in a stipulated time.
Daily shop floor meeting with department Head.
Zero line complains of process on painting & assembly line.
Responsible for daily MRS (Material requisition slip) as per the schedule received from PPC.
Chemical analysis of Pretreatment line (PT Line), phosphating/chromating bath sample for their parameters.
Schedule of preventive maintenance of PT (pretreatment) and Paint shop.
Responsible for booth cleaning and hanger stripping/cleaning.
Daily defect analysis and applying the counter Measures to the problems with the help of QC Tools
To provide trainings to new associates. Identification of need of trainings to trained associates to get the max. Utilization of manpower with excellent quality.
Leading and motivating the team to give Suggestion, perform Kaizens, involving them in quality circle activities in order to make the work simple and interesting.
Trouble shooting of all types of Painting problem.
develop & modify new painting jig/hanger and improve part masking process.
To validate the incoming paint quality to achieve zero paint quality defects during production.
To control the consumables and rejections to meet the consumable and rejection cost targets.
To maintain ISO systems, Safety system and zero accident in shop floor.
Co-ordination with other departments.
Inventory control as per norms.
Doing System Inspection Process Audit for Paint shop
After painting we do different types paint performance test like DFT, Gloss, Cross Adhesion, Hardness, Salt spray test(SST), Water resistence test, Petrol resistence test, humidity test,heat resistance test, xylene test etc .
Knowledge of various rework methods like shot blast, sanding, buffing, stripping,, touch up etc
To maintain daily paint and chemical FIFO system.
To check the paint mixing process as per the paint mixing standard.
To develop the visual controls on the line.
Preparations Of ONE POINT LESSION (OPL) and STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOP) for the better understanding of associates performing The work.
Solving day to day Production related problem.
Giving TRAININGS to associates on topics like Painting techniques, Paint mixing, Paint booth working, Material handling,Responsibility, General Behavior etc.
New paint process set up & implementation of process (NEW MODEL DEVELOPMENT)
Process parameter to be control as per process standard.
Responsible for successful implementation of action taken against each N.C. found during audits.
Responsible for weekly and monthiy report which include paint consumption, top two defect analysis, rejection trends, plan vs actual status etc.
Daily MIS to be update.
Shift wise production reviews,productivity analysis.
To maintain upward communication with HOD updated on regular issues on daily basis.
Expertise in liquid spray painting on die casting, sheet metal and ABS components.
Active participation in 5S, Kaizen,Quality Circle and Safety committee.
