WORK HISTORY
Director of Operations and Finance Spye, LLC Fall 2007 - Present
• To bring in more stable reoccurring revenue, structured operations plan, created budget and set timeline to develop a new content division. The division hit projected sales targets ($500k) in the first year while also assisting in sales of our core product.
• Designed facility layout, organized inventory, established standard operating procedures and quality systems, performed employee training, and created operating documentation to start and scale a new solar division. Over three years, the division averaged 300% per year sales growth.
• Worked with suppliers and sub-contractors to manufacture a high tolerance digital display projection screen (sub component) for an avionics dash gauge.
• Managed cycles of high volume work without adding labor by tripling our number of certified programmers through employee training, adding additional equipment and improving job planning.
• Served as the company subject matter expert on our operational hardware and software. Integrating our operations, sales and accounting software cut data entry in half, and improved communication by creating a common source for data.
• Without a clear focus on employee structure and benefits, Defined and implemented employee retention benefits, including healthcare, 401(k) with match, dental coverage, annual compensation and bonus structure, and performance metrics and review process.
• Leveraged data and financial performance to model sales forecasts, monitor P&L, support decision making, develop strategies and create weekly and monthly reports for various stakeholders. Program Manager (project management) Briggs and Stratton Fall 2001 - Fall 2007
• Under a tight timeline, used ability to adapt and manage multiple tasks to lead annual go-to-market process for over 20 new pressure washer models for private labeled brands for large retailers.
• Used communications skill to collaborate with and provide leadership to a productive cross functional team that included marketing, engineering, purchasing, design and sales. Industrial Engineer Briggs and Stratton Spring 1997 - Fall 2001
• Using LEAN principles, designed, implemented and improved manufacturing operations to meet sales demand, increase efficiency and reduce costs. KEY QUALIFICATIONS
