Deolinda Mendes has 32 years of experience in the banking and administrative fields.
Over the course of her career she has developed numerous skills and key attributes, namely: excellent attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure as well as multitask. She is able to make decisions, is hard working and a team player.

Her career started at Nedbank Ltd in May 1985 as a admin clerk in various departments. She was later promoted to check clerk of the various departments, where she worked until 1996.
In 1996, she was promoted to controller, in various departments. Her duties also included relieving of the Operations Manager and Branch Manager.
During the period of 2001 and 2004, Deolinda worked for Nando’s as an administrative clerk.
From 2004 to 2006 she worked for Quest Personnel, where she formed part of a training team, being responsible for training NBS staff on the Nedbank systems and products, for the merging of NBS to Nedbank Ltd.
In 2006, she was employed by Nedbank as a permanent staff member as a facilitator. Her duties included relieving the team leaders in various branches.
At the end of April 2006, she joined the Nedbank Private Bank division as a private bankers’ assistant. Her duties were to assist the clients with their requirements which included selling of bank products.
In 2012, she was promoted to business service specialist. Her duties included overseeing private bankers and their assistants, performing the duties of a front desk co-ordinator and compiling of reports for the area manager.
During the period of 2015 to 2017 she worked for Carlos Service Centre as a personal assistant / front desk coordinator where she performed all the administrative duties.
She achieved promotions throughout her banking career.
In 2005, she received the Employee of the Year award from Quest personnel for Nedbank, which included: training of NBS staff on Nedbank systems and products, provided customer support involving procedural changes, and excellent client service.
In 2012, she worked on a special project for Nedbank Private Bank.
Her goal is to work in a company where she can best utilize her skills and strengths to accomplish the company’s goals and objectives and at the same time get an opportunity to expand her knowledge base.
