Summers Internship

During my summers in May – June 2007, I was assigned need based critical projects concerning Product Distribution & Gap analysis besides analyzing the efficacy of a company’s software with dealer network. Burberry - made a comprehensive presentation depicting the evolution, strategic growth journey and the credentials of this reputed company with the help of a self conceptualized movie, which has been well acknowledged by the learned Jury / faculty.

Christian Dior - Presented an in-depth study of the company and its success story covering areas of its strengths and weaknesses, threats faced financials, innovative marketing strategies and above all its memorable contribution in the fashion industry. I came First in the class as an appreciation of my effective presentation.

Conceptualizing, developing & making an Indian Luxury Skincare Brand from scratch - This was a real challenge for realizing my dream in showcasing my innovative, creative, communicative and networking skills / abilities. The presentation covered selection of product, its name / brand, development of home page, designing of modern outlet, backed by interface with manufactures and dermatologists, financials, merchandise mix, SWOT analysis, marketing strategies & consumer feedback with the help of a questionnaire etc.

Made in Italy – I had undergone one month module at Milan, Italy (Feb-March, 2013) as a part of the Masters program. The module gave rich global exposure in luxury industry, since we were taken around leading brand manufacturing facilities, attended Milan Fashion Week besides interacting with learned faculty / brand experts. The stay at Milan gave us the opportunity in exploring Italian luxury market.

Consequently, our team’s project titled “Made in Italy” was adjudged the Best by the Jury.
