GRYFFIN MEDIA: As mentioned previously, I’m still employed part-time and the majority of my current responsibilities are working as a freelance author. As such, I am not credited directly for the material I generate. See actual examples of my work by following the hyperlinks as listed below:
cartegnayachtrentals.com (website content and blog posts): Authored the site content found on this page along with all of the accompanying material contained in their blog.
iheartcartegna.com (blog posts): I personally enjoyed writing each and every one of these blog posts.
In case you’re wondering about the “Cartagena” connection, the CEO, owner and operator of Griffyn Media is a native of this beautiful, tropical paradise. Her name is Marcela De Vivo and she can be contacted to verify any and all of this information.
Further examples of Gryffin clients where I have contributed substantially are found here:
●campuseyegroup.com
●petwave.com
●getridofpests.com and pestwildlife.com (same client with different web addresses)
●presidohomecare.com
BLOGMUTT: I still occasionally contribute to this internet outlet and other online platforms including relativelyinteresting.com. I have recently submitted entries to entertainment sites such as cracked.com and factinate.com (still awaiting responses as these venues are slammed with potential publishing).
PUBLISHED: Speaking of being published, I was thrilled when one of my pieces was accepted to Reader’s Digest in their popular Chicken Soup for the Soul series. Specifically found inside their 2016 edition entitled “The Spirit of America” (101 Stores about What Makes Our Country Great).
In a twist, the subject of my story in Reader’s Digest was an experience at our family-owned restaurant (The White House) on the date of 9/11. This tragic event was also the reason we were forced to close this once popular eatery. Located in a tourist town just outside of Yosemite, people completely stopping traveling out of fear and we were forced to shut the doors for financial reasons.
More tales were published in my eBook available on Amazon, “The White House: Confessions of a Restaurateur.” Mostly I penned this piece in order to save many of the recipes and adventures we experienced during this exciting time of my life. Cooking is one of my many passions, but breaking into this overwhelmingly popular platform on the internet is challenging at best.
INTERESTS: As mirrored above, I truly enjoy cooking and am an avid animal and pet lover. Although I have a better-than-average understanding of medicine, I lack an actual medical degree. HIPAA prohibits me from sharing any of these published sources. My continued relationship with the doctor who ran Write Now Transcription along my mother’s retirement from both UCD Med Center and Stanford Hospital, both contribute greatly to my continued interest in this field. Past and present trivia and current events also peak my interest on an ongoing basis.
