I was sent to Japan about a year for “on-the-job” training with a group of 10 engineers. I appointed to Assistant Plant manager after coming back from Japan due to my performance in Japan, mastering operation of whole factory and “can-do” attitude. I spent another year to build factory, setup manufacturing facility, run recruitment campaign, training and pilot run. I successfully fulfill the job and shorten timing of pilot run from 8 months to 4 months.
I got the promotion to the Plant manager and replace a Japanese Plant manager in 10/1997. I manage the business development, leading production management, retail network, maintenance, quality and supply chain management departments. Responded to customer needs through focused operational strategic planning & implementation, and development of new products. Utilized Business Analysis, market research, OPS budget and P&L to articulate company’s position to senior leadership, and suggest changes to current strategies.
