Loan Processor

Receiving file into processing by reviewing the documentation received, uploading it into the PC-Lender system. Make welcome call with borrower along with sending a welcome email requesting the items missing from submission to processing. Calculation of income, ordering title, appraisal, tax transcripts, homeowners insurance and mortgage insurance. If a 2nd lien is required, also send that request to the 2nd lien lender along with documentation required. Complete income calculation worksheet, order flood cert, update loan application with updated bank balances, income, taxes from tax certificate, homeowners insurance premium etc., preparing file for underwriting with cover letter explaining file. Once file comes out of underwriting request conditions from the borrower. Run Appraisal XML through SSR/Uniform Collateral Data Portal, send the appraisal to the borrower and receive a signed confirmation that the borrower received a copy of the appraisal. Send the file back to underwriting for a clear to close. Complete closing checklist / preparing file for closing by completing verbal VOE and uploading invoices for the closer. Attended team meeting every morning to discuss what files I would be working on that day. Making the Tuesday update call with all borrowers in the pipeline and realtors giving them an update on the status of all loans in process. Prepare the file for processing. Gather conditions / documents for processing from the borrowers before processing and after the file goes through Underwriting. Keep pipeline sheet updated so everyone on the team knows where the file stands. Attend marketing meetings and happy hours with realtors.
