With the increasing emphasis on Human Resources as a strategic business partner, I believe there is a trend towards less emphasis on the employees and more on what the business partners want. If the executives are committed to employees and Human Resources principles, it is a very healthy relationship. My background is strong base Human Resources but my roots of customer service, retail experience and business knowledge has been in my fundamentals in every job.
