Medtronic acquired Covidien in FY2015 and the system integration activities started soon after the acquisition with a goal of completing end to end integrations with in 4 years of integration kick off. Executive Sales Reporting is a key initiative to replace legacy World-wide Flash sales reporting that goes out to Corporate Executives including Medtronic CEO and several other senior leaders world-wide. ESR replaces legacy Oracle based reporting with SAP HANA Enterprise Edition (EE). ESR fully leverages US and INTL deployments of SAP HANA EE global sales reporting (Field reporting) to send ESR daily and weekly reporting to Executives.
