Contrack Watts, Inc. (April 2017 - January 2018). Served as Business Analyst/Contract Specialist in areas of business analysis, contract administration and claims management in connection with complex federal construction projects and project services for international construction company based in the D.C. area. Position was eliminated as part of ten percent reduction in workforce at company.
The position required independent judgment, strong organizational skills (including substantial familiarity with Microsoft Office and Primavera P6) and flexibility to coordinate multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and adhering to critical deadlines. Duties included:
o Analyzing data pertaining to business and contract performance and developing solutions to address issues and concerns, while considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.
o Assembling and managing contracts and purchase order agreements for projects; coordinating related efforts of subcontractors; and conducting follow-up actions to ensure contract execution
o Coordinating and conferring with applicable personnel to ensure successful functioning of implemented systems and procedures.
Burlington Retail Stores (Oct 2016 - March 2017). Temporary part-time employment as an Associate in company's Sales and Receiving/Shipping Departments while completing college. Duties included:
o Working with a team of associates to assist customers, process patrons’ requests and resolve customer issues.
o Prioritizing and managing multiple requests and tasks from management while assisting patrons.
o Assisting with inventory management.
Business Transformation Group, Inc. (May 2015 - Aug 2015). Served as Business Intern in regulatory compliance department of BTG, a Washington, D.C.-based management and technology consulting services firm. Worked on BTG's portion of the Elizabeth River Tunnel (ERT)l Project in Norfolk, VA, a $ 2.1 billion transportation improvement project. Duties included:
o Analyzing and tracking compliance requirements of participating small business contractors, including assisting with compliance reviews and interviews.
o Preparing Excel spreadsheets to track performance of small business contractors on ERT project with respect to contract value and completion status.
o Assisting Compliance Manager in site interviews with contractors and subcontractors to verify eligibility for contract programs.
o Assisting Engineering Field Technician by identifying and researching available contractors qualified to provide specified services.
Contrack Watts, Inc. (May 2014 - Aug 2014). Served as Business Intern for this international construction and project services firm based in the Washington, DC greater metropolitan area.
oDuties included business analysis, project management and scheduling, estimating services, and contract administration, in support of company's international construction projects for U.S. government.
