**/** – to Present -- H&R Block, Tulsa, OK (all Tulsa office locations) Seasonal/temporary position working as an Office Management Assistant working with tax professionals in scheduling, drafting and finalizing multiple state and federal tax forms from individual to corporate filings. Other duties include customer service, scheduling appointments and organizing documentation for tax professionals. File maintenance and other administrative office functions are also performed.

02/17 to 10/17 -- Gibbs Armstrong Borochoff Mullican & Hart, Tulsa, OK Civil litigation law firm with medical malpractice, insurance defense and other similar matters. I was primarily hired to work for the partners. Opening all new matters both defense and plaintiff cases that entailed heavy transcription, editing and final proofing of all documents which included attention to detail on grammar, punctuation and flow of the substance and chronological understanding of the content. Duties also included filing in State and Federal Courts, drafting and finalizing discovery pleadings as well as client and opposing counsel correspondence. Heavy docketing, calendar maintenance, scheduling of depositions and client meetings. Also in charge of drafting settlement documentation, new client conflict checks and client contracts as well as preparation of all marketing materials to be send to potential clients. Finally, I prepared tax documentation, expense reports and maintenance of all receipts for the accounting department for the law office. However, the firm’s partners have since disbanded the firm and opened private offices.

03/13 to 10/16 -- Windstream Communications, Broken Arrow, OK A long term temporary assignment with Byers Engineering, working as an administrative assistant in the Engineering Department assisting the Director of Accounting and Finances processing “Job” Orders, with high attention to detail and precision with reviewing and maintenance of schematics, financial summaries and all work order processing as well as much data entry and accurate review. Also assisted with all accounting functions for maintenance of documentation in DocuShare and high proficiency in Adobe Writer and document conversion, transferring multiple documents into one main file for later reviewing purposes. I also reviewed, maintained and finalized Contracts with outside vendors.

03/12 to 03/13 -- Transition from Loss of Husband: My husband was a soldier in Desert Storm. Unfortunately, he died in early 2012 at the age of 41. Therefore, I took a sabbatical with my family to overcome death.

07/11 to 02/12 -- Xcel Energy, Henderson, CO Employed as an Executive/Legal Administrative Assistant to the Director of Supply Chain/Process Control and corporate in-house legal counsel. This position entailed handling all aspects of the Director’s scheduling and calendar maintenance, travel arrangements, drafting and finalizing correspondence, corporate legal documentation and working directly with management as to maintaining the supply and cost controls for all aspects of the employees for Xcel and corporate legal contracts and documents. Also prepared PowerPoint presentations which entailed drafting and completion of such presentations, IT technical set-up and “driving” the presentations for the Director for in-house meetings as well as video-conferencing other employees from other offices and states. Resigned from position due to the death of my husband.

02/00 to 05/11 -- Holland & Hart, LLP, Denver, CO Floating legal assistant supporting all the firms’ attorneys who have specialized in civil litigation, personal injury defense, Chapter 7 and 13 Federal Bankruptcy petition filings, large family estate planning documentation and other corporate matters. Primary responsibilities included dictation, drafting and finalizing correspondence, pleadings, discovery and trial preparation in the litigation department, drafting and finalizing Wills, Powers of Attorney and other large family estate documentation and also drafting Chapter 7 and 13 Federal Bankruptcy petitions and assisting in some Chapter 11 corporation reorganizational federal bankruptcy petitions as well. All other floating duties consisted of assisting other staff with over-flow work and all other legal administrative office functions. File maintenance, office utilities and general internal office functions were also performed.

Review and summarization of same for discovery and case preparation was done through dictation or personal review. High proficiency in most Windows-based programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Familiar with most billing software as in Timeslips. Westlaw, PCLaw and ProLaw, efiling and ECF.

Very proficient in Adobe Writer.
