PROFILE

I am a registered Petroleum Engineer, with years of technical experienced in FPSO operations. I currently work at Erha FPSO, offshore Gulf of Guinea. I have coordinated several Plant start-ups & shut-downs, Greenfield & Brownfield projects and worked in various sections on the FPSO. I have encountered various operational challenges and provided remarkable solutions safely. I am a self-motivated, target driven, goals achieving engineer .A good team player with the ability to work under pressure and less supervision from superiors. Coordinating daily operational activities in accordance with company policies to achieve daily production target is my specialty. I am aspiring to expand my knowledge and skills working on the job and impacting great industries.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Production Engineer

May 2009 till date.

PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES

Support Operations team in process optimization and improvement.

Monitor production performance and recommend actions to optimize production rates.

Ensure maximum oil production is achieved to meet desired target for export.

Conduct and analyse running Top tier machinery. GE Gas compressors & turbine generators

Oversee preparation of production morning report.

Conduct preventive maintenance on facility equipment and update them on IPES

Coordinate Gas Lifting operation

Responsible for Utility Operations

Ensure flare and injection target is met from Produced gas

Oversee effectiveness of Seawater treatment and Water Injection systems.

Support maintenance department in developing “fit for purpose” maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime and maximize availability

Conduct weekly lube oil inventory stock/maintaining consumption register.

Updating of safety hazard findings, loss prevention observation, provide input into Hazid, Hazop and Risk Assessment processes for FPSO activities.

Recommend technical solutions to problems arising from FPSO.

Oversee control room DCS operations (Process and Utilities)

Review and assess Long Term Isolation (LTI) and LOTO

Assist operations team professionally during shut down and start-up of process plant

Tutor newly employed and transferees on production operations.

SUBSEA ACTIVITIES

Oversee Subsea DCS Controls. (Cameron)

Conduct daily Subsea well surveillance.

Active team member in the commissioning of Erha producers and injectors well

Conduct routine subsea well test exercises (MER, Transaqua leak test, USV, SCSSV test) using Test separator or MPFM.

Subsea Hydraulic and Electrical power unit controls and operations. (EH-MUX)

Methanol injection, system controls and operations.

Support subsea wells shut down, start-up and intervention exercises.

Ensure effective Production optimization and flow assurance

Support subsea Installation, Work over and Completion operations by Rig or ROV Boat (IWOCS)
