September 2008 – February 2017 (8 years 5 months) • Atlanta, GA I founded Global Business Funding, along with a business partner, in 2008. We had two streams of revenue: Merchant Processing and Business Lending. As CFO, I developed the growth and organization principles. Projected short and long-term budgets and secured start-up capital as needed. I was responsible for payroll, accounting, and acquisition. At various intervals I provided support in other areas such as vendor relations, staff training, hiring, compliance, and human resources. We sold our portfolio and dissolved the company in 2016/17 in an amicable ownership split. We had employed 24 full-time staff members and 100+ inside/outside sales support. Branch Manager

Novastar Mortgage

January 2005 - August 2008 (2 years 7 months) • Atlanta, GA I maintained a branch of 24 loan officers and averaged 3.5+ PPP. In 2007, during the mortgage industry downturn, Novastar eventually closed all production-based activities and branches. I remained as a non-prime consultant and analyst, part-time, for an additional sixteen months. (I was hired from Amerisave Mortgage, where I was an underwriter for Fannie, Freddie, and HUD loans.)
