The BLINDMAN INC (Nampa, Idaho)

Primarily window coverings with a focus on new construction and small commercial installations including rental and multifamily properties. We owned and operated 3 store fronts, Nampa, ID, Idaho Falls, ID and Salt Lake City, UT.

Personal area of focus: Builder and commercial contracts; logistics of custom products (design, order, installation), training of sales team and installation team.

Territory Manager (1995 –2001)

Marietta Drapery (Atlanta, GA)

Sales and management from start to completion on each contract with a focus on new construction hotels and multifamily properties. Responsible to maintain contractual timelines in production of custom materials and the hiring of the subcontractor crews for the installation as well as job site inspections during the time of contract

Owner (1997 –2010)

Burton By Design (Nampa, Idaho)

Nationwide commercial interior finish contractor. The scope of work was primarily hospitality, secondary multifamily and government projects. We did most of the final interior work in hotels, anything on the walls such as art work and mirrors, all window coverings, headboards, etc. We did all kinds of construction from wood, brick and concrete, new and rehab while still in operation.

Personal area of focus: Project logistics of contractual timelines with custom products, labor crews, and multiple locations. We were the preferred contractor for Intercontinental Hotels, Marriot, and many others as we maintained our schedules in the strict timelines of existing and open properties as not to disrupt their daily operations and the guests during their stay. I personally oversaw the quality of nearly every job the company contracted.

Show Manager (2011 –2014)

Gtec Flitz (Boise, Idaho)

Sales and trade show management of premium polish products. We traveled to many different venues, set up a professional booth, demonstrated and sold onsite a polish product line. We also set up commercial accounts and revolving accounts. Our primary venue was the rodeo circuit and the state fair circuit. We operated in over 15 states and several provinces in Canada.

products, and impulse purchase items related to the type of venue our booth was in. We traveled to

many different venues, set up a professional booth, demonstrated, sold a variety of product lines.

several provinces in Canada.

Countryside Trailers (Spring, Tx)

Sales and custom trailer builds for a variety of customers and many uses. I had to find the product that best fit the needs of the customer by either inventory or to custom build to the specifications provided. I worked with many corporate accounts, government accounts, small businesses and individuals from a wide range of industries and uses. Our customer base spread all over the North American, including Mexico and Canada.

Store sales and inn field sales in flooring and cabinetry. I was responsible to assist customers in finding the best products for their needs. I was responsible for all measurements, pricing, ordering, scheduling, warrantee, paperwork and follow after installation completed. I was involved in every aspect from start to finish except for the installation itself. Managed all of the customer’s needs, concerns, changes, and referrals.
