Factory Manager for Production

Executing Interior/Retail Fabrication projects while maintaining maximum profitability to the company

Reports to the General Manger and leads of team of Supervisors, Carpenters, Electricians and Spray Painters

Spearheading efforts across supervising, Quality checking and coordinating the joinery workers and Assistant Production Manager to making sure every aspect of the project is checked and delivered as per client expectation and deadline

Cost estimate based on client drawings/3D

Identifying and developing vendors and contractors for the project execution

Efficiently maintain and manage suppliers dealing with products such as MDF, Paint, Metal, Hardware, Electricals, transportation etc. but not limited to.

Drawing a detailed project plan

Attend Client meeting with or without Sales Department presence

Overview of factory day to day operations like Time sheet maintaining, Stock Inventory checking, Wastage, Schedule etc

Weekly status meeting with General Manager to evaluate current project and discuss factory operations

Duties as Factory Manager:

Planning and creating strategies, tactics, activities, and materials for the purpose of conveying the most positive internal and external messages.

Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule.

Support Managing Director / Business Managers on all key Rhythm of the Business activities when needed.

Drafting timescale for the job.

Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.

Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations.

Supervising and motivating a team of employees.

Provides content to the business communication channels to increase the effectiveness and impact for both employees and customers.

Researches, writes, and edits internal and external communication documents or emails.

Arranging travel and accommodation and, occasionally, travelling with the manager to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations.

Contribute to short and long- term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.

Observe and evaluate workers ́ performance. Resolved complaints and answered questions of customers regarding services.

Develop and implement a company- wide plan to push product, working with all departments for its execution.

Duties as Administration Manager:

Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule;

Ensuring that the production is cost effective;

Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;

Working out the human and material resources needed;

Drafting a timescale for the job;

Estimating costs and setting the quality standards;

Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;

Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;

Monitoring product standards and implementing quality- control programmers;

Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers;

Duties as Architect/Interior Designer :

Discussing the objectives, requirements and budget of a project;

Consulting with other professionals about design;

Preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals to the client;

Advising the client on the practicality of their project;

Using IT in design and project management, specifically using computer- aided design software;

Keeping within financial budgets and deadlines;

Producing detailed workings, drawings and specifications;

Specifying the nature and quality of materials required;

Preparing tender applications and presentations;

Negotiating with contractors and other professionals;

Preparing applications for planning and building control departments;

Drawing up tender documents for contracts;

Project managing and helping to coordinate the work of contractors;

Controlling a project from start to finish;

Regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget;
