As the sole pharmacist/staff member on duty for 12 hour shifts, precisely manages all pharmacy transactions and ensures accurate control over and accountability for all scripts. Maintains extremely high standards across all drug protocols, including strict monitoring of HIPAA and FDA compliance, potential adverse interactions, and updating of recalled and new drug information. Provides comprehensive DURs in a culturally appropriate and understanding manner, and additionally oversees key pharmacy business aspects, including issue resolution, inventory management, CII counts, projected demand during specific seasons, and other critical KPIs.

Drove MTM completion rate from zero to 100% in less than a year, achieved a 27% increase in immunization sales this season alone.

Upon arrival at this location, immediately undertook a comprehensive department reorganization from the ground up, resolving not only chaotic inventory issues which were causing stress for the staff and unnecessary delays for the customers, but a distinct lack of cleanliness throughout the pharmacy. Department received a 100% satisfaction rating during the most recent inspection, from a previously dismal track record of low double digit percentages.

Utilizes ongoing critical decision-making skills, making sound economic choices in terms of the most effective and least expensive choices for patients.
