• Mechanical/Pipeline Engineering for the Oil and Gas Industry. Most engineering was of projects involving crude oil midstream gathering pipelines in west Texas & eastern New Mexico.

• A special project was to evaluate converting a NGL P/L to Natural Gas.

• Evaluated and recommended mechanical equipment limitations and requirements for an existing compressor station expansion. Evaluations included inlet separator, compression (Ariel), measurement and pipe sizes. The expected future capacity recommended additional compression. • Utilized Gregg Engineering Winflow software for computer model involving gas gathering engineering studies enhancing performance and revenue.

DIAMOND SHAMROCK / MAXUS ENERGY CORP, Dumas/Amarillo, TX 5/1982 - 6/1996 Facilities Engineer / Staff Natural Gas Engineer, PE Increasing responsible duties were to engineer, design and manage construction of various natural gas and refined products pipelines, pump and compressor stations, gathering and measurement projects.

• Teamed with engineers to convert a 700 well gathering system to vacuum operation.

• Computer modeled natural gas gathering systems totaling 2,000 wells in Texas and Oklahoma.

• Mechanically modernized an existing truck loading facility for bottom loading and vapor recovery.

• Installed 2-80,000 BBL refined product floating roof storage tanks.
