Objective: To introduce myself and my skills and qualifications to prospective employers and military contract companies. I wish to highlight my experience in Equipment (Light/ 10K and below) Vehicle Maintenance, Material Handling Equipment, and Vehicle Fleet Scheduled Maintenance/Vehicle Inspection and Dispatch Operations and General Motor Pool Operations. Defense Contract operations, (CONUS/Overseas) vehicle repairs, and scheduled -10/-20/-30 level services. I am recently late of BAE Systems Inc. where I worked extensively with M88A2, Full-Track Recovery Vehicle Permanent Techs at, Issue, Training, Services and Repairs at various US Military Posts, in CONUS.

A prior position was as a Power Generator/ Fuel Handler and Technician for Stellar Oil Field Equipment Rental LLC., Seguin, TX. 78155 providing Life-Support equipment in the Eagle-Ford Oil Fields in Texas. This includes delivery and retrieval of Portable Generators (30-300KW) with hook-ups to trailers and rig equipment using up to 600 amp capacity SO cables/connectors. On site Preventive Maintenance (Oil/Fuel filter services every 250 hrs.) and repairs with 24 hour coverage operations. Service and repair/basic troubleshooting procedures to include circuit tests and condition with a Multi-Meter and load bank tester, shop equipment and fork-lifts. Also, I have experience with Logistics/ Shipping Operations, CONUS/Overseas Military Defense Maintenance Contracts, Hydraulic Component (M-1 A1 MBT, CEV’s M2-3 BFV’s, Direct Support Turret repairs and component repairs and testing. Well versed in Full-service Industrial and Logistical Facilities Operations. During my three deployments to Kuwait and Iraq I preformed scheduled maintenance and repairs on many types of power generators including Caterpillar, Perkins, Volvo, Cummins and John-Deere models. This included troubleshooting and testing with available technical support. I made extensive use of Authorized Brand Dealers and Suppliers to actually buy technical manuals and wiring schematics where possible. Subsequently I apply grave diligence to ensure that the correct part are identified by Part Number and then requested. I have completed training in OSHA, PEC, and MSHA safety programs at various times for different job positions.

Current Qualifications; State of Texas Driver License, MSHA (Mine/Quarry) Training Initial training completed (April, 2016). OSHA training (May, 2016), ITC Heavy Equipment Operator Course (May, 2016)., Previous Homeland Security Agency/Inter-Pol clearance for Hazardous-Material. PEC Training; Basic Orientation, Safe/Land USA, GHS, and PEC-T.R.A.P. Previous Hydrogen Sulfide Training. Non-Active Secret Clearance with the US Dept. of Defense Industrial Security Agency, Current Material Handling Equipment License, Fork-Lift, Clear Driving Record. Smith Safe-Driving School training (Aug., 2014). Life-Member, First Cavalry Div. Association, Member of the Order of St. Barbara (US Army Artillery), Honorable Member of the Order of the Chapel of the Four Chaplains (US Army). I have made Art Work and Training Aides created for classes on various subjects.

Mechanic/Equipment Operator; Over 40 years of practical experience/troubleshooting as a wheeled and track vehicle Mechanic and Recovery Specialist. Experience as a US Army Motor Sgt., recovery vehicle operator/supervisor, Field Service Representative (2001-2006) (FSR), QA/QC, 1st Inf. Div., 5th Corps, Germany, Inspector, DS-GS Turret shop technician (1995-1998) (hydraulic component rebuild and testing), fork-lift and light crane/5 ton wrecker operator. Power Generation mechanic(2004-2016). (Portable and fixed) 60Kw -300 Kw and large 1.7 meg Cats. Some heavy equipment service (oil/filter changes) and repair work. (Backhoes, forklifts, tractors and bucket loaders) Also I have worked as a plumber, water supply/waste water tech., electrician helper (with electrical test equipment), carpenter, artist, CDL driver, sewer-rat and handy-man. I have extensive experience in setting up, from scratch, and running field-site operations, installing electrical infrastructure/building modifications, and facilities maintenance operations. The Customer’s needs are our results.

Logistical Operations. Very good at identifying repair parts and cross-checking with Equipment serial number/model. 40 years of Logistic/ Supply Operations in both a military and civilian setting/systems 1978-2012). Skills included are data entry, physical inventory (by serial number) and records keeping, accountability and identification verifiability, and the shipping and receiving of containers and equipment. My logistical experience includes the construction of shipping crates and containers to transport combat-damaged vehicle components for lab analysis in CONUS.

Requesting repair parts, materials, and equipment cost money and delivery times add to this expense. Cross-referencing, comparing specifications, and verifying stock numbers is essential so that the right items is procured and delivered/shipped in the proper manner. At my last position, I assisted the Parts Manager with stock control and the shipping/receiving of materials and assembly parts from various commercial vendors. I can coordinate with commercial vendors for engine testing and generator fault testing.

Defense Contract Worker; Over 22 years of Defense Contract Work in various parts of the world and under many types of conditions. I have been employed and have fully completed defense contracts with ITT Federal Services, Honeywell International, Lockheed-Martin International, Dimensions LLC and Lawson Consulting Gmbh., and BAE System International. I am late of the 402nd Army Field Support Brigade from AMC, Army Material Command. I am considered a “Good Joe” and can be hired without question or issue. I am a known value who will do the mission and make the contract succeed. I work well with others and contribute to the group, helping other departments and pitching in to make the work lighter. I travel with my own tool kit and hardware/office supplies so we are ready to start on time. I am able to arrange resources and materials from various units/entities in order to make the mission. Safety and Production are my stated goals throughout the contract. The Supervisor and the mission are foremost and everyone makes it back alive. Vehicles on which I have done repairs, services on. M88A2, M109A6, M728A1, M978 HEMTT Tanker, M977, and M1074 PLS system. I have also done turret services, removals and repairs on M2-M3 Bradleys, M1A1 MBT, M728A1, and Hydraulic system components.

Recent Job/Positions;

BAE System International; York PA. May 2016-to present,; Service and Repairs on M88A2 Hercules, Full-Track Recovery. Duties include applying Work Order Modifications and additional electronic systems to unit M88A2’s at various US Army posts, CONUS. I have been a team member on two Unit Issues/Operator Training and two MOD teams. Also I participated in a year-long Service/Repair contract at Ft. Riley, KS. for the stay-back maintenance which include bringing damaged, broken, M88’s back to tested and certified, safe vehicles. The contract was completed and received good reviews from Unit Commanders.

Stellar Oil Field Rentals; Seguin/ Houston/Odessa, TX. Nov.12-Mar.16. Power Generator Technician and Fuel Deliver Technician. This position required on-call, (24-7) status throughout. All aspects of power generation in the field were covered including the positioning and connection of auxiliary fuel tanks. Scheduled maintenance and records keeping/inventory of all equipment. Service and repair company equipment (fork-lifts, pumps) in shop and field settings. Polite and direct interactions with site company supervisors, Tool pushers and rig hands. Laid off due to oil slow down.

Wire-Line Truck Fabrications LLC., Seguin, TX ; Mar. 2012-Sept. 2012; Shop Worker and Asst. Mechanic. Cleaning the shop floors and welder’s area. Supplies and parts inventory storage. Carpentry work and farm equipment service and repair. Assist welders and mechanic in repairs and additional duties. Laid off due to slow sales.

Honeywell Federal Service Inc./Lawson Consulting Gmbh. Mar.,2004-Feb.,2012. Kuwait and Iraq. Power Generator and Plumbing Tech. Assigned to the 402nd Army Field Support Brigade, US. Army Material Command (Big Bob’s Truck Stop) in various bases in Kuwait and Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. With small crews of TCN’s we maintained and repaired a 250 acre industrial park and over 12 housing areas (Joint Base Balad, Tikrit, Camp Victory Complex Baghdad). Also we moved to other bases as needed (Baghdad, Tikrit, An-Najaf). Over 60 generators (30 KW-1.5Mg.+) of various designs and models were maintained on a 250 hrs. schedule throughout. JCB forklifts, Ingersoll Rand Forklifts and Shuttle cranes. We maintained water supply tanks, waste-water removal, electricity supply and building wiring, over-head garage doors and structural modifications as required to fit the AMC mission.
