Solution Architect – Technology & Transformation Delivery, 11/2004 to 10/2017

Experienced Senior Manager with Accenture’s Technology Sourcing and Procurement practice based in Tampa with 20 years of experience. During the 13 years with Accenture I have held multiple roles as a Functional Implementation Lead, Value Realization Lead, and more recently as a certified Delivery Lead and Solution Architect. I have worked with my clients to define business goals, develop an achievable roadmap, implement new systems, harmonize their data, establish metrics and analytics solutions and introduce process optimizations across their business to achieve their annual targets.

Solution Architect - In the past 6 years I have solutioned over 70 proposals with a 70% win rate and in one year was recognized as responsible for sales totaling over 300 million dollars. I have supported proposals across a wide variety of scope, complexity and industries:

Large complex ERP implementations

Complex proposals including technology and process assessments, business case development, organizational re-structuring, system security and change management

Focused transformation projects for digital high tech services and automotive manufacturing and new technology to support industry specific requirements (e.g, IFRS15, Revenue Management & Contract Accounting, Dealership Management)

I have developed a standardized approach to ERP technology assessment projects to guide my clients through the process of defining their technology roadmap, evaluating software, quickly and efficiently choosing the right software for their business and developing the business case to support their investment.

More recently I have developed a successful solutioning approach for SAP Ariba Source to Pay proposals including business transformation, supplier enablement, system implementation and ongoing support. This approach addressed the change from traditional On Premise customized waterfall solutions to a more agile implementation of Cloud-based standard solutions. Some of the key changes included:

This solution approach has been adopted across our organization as standard for SAP Ariba On Demand delivery.

Following are some of the key delivery lead roles I’ve held over the past thirteen years at Accenture:

Solution Delivery Lead, North America Commercial Bank – Led a team of ten resources for the implementation of SAP Ariba On Demand Requisition to Pay solution including Procure to Pay, Supplier Information and Performance Management (SIPM), Spend Visibility and Guided Buying. Responsible for developing an integrated solution with my client’s existing Ariba upstream applications using agile approach to design and build. Worked with my client to define their end state organizational structure to support a centralized leading Sourcing and Procurement model and a transition plan. One of the primary challenges of the program lay in supplier enablement. I worked with the client to develop a more structured approach to onboarding suppliers with a target of 80% total managed spend.

Technology Strategy Lead, Global High Tech Electronic Manufacturer - Led a technology assessment of Sourcing & Technology cloud-based applications for the client. Worked with the CIO to address challenges in current landscape: managing hybrid on premise and cloud application landscape, ERP migration to new platform, data management and reporting. Prepared a comparison of applications capabilities per client’s business requirements and existing landscape. Designed future state technology application landscape. Worked with the CPO to design a strategy to address challenges such as driving a coherent strategic sourcing approach across a global organization, defining an approach to reporting that is proactive rather than reactive, restructuring the procurement organization to support a new sourcing organization. Developed the recommendation and overall Implementation plan for an SAP Ariba solution including cost, timeline, resource plan, and solution scope.

Project Delivery Lead, Chemicals Company - Coordinated work effort to define client’s differentiating process, review capabilities of ERP suppliers, establish criteria for ERP selection through final selection of supplier. Developed the overall Implementation plan for an SAP solution based on client’s final decision on SAP supplier including cost, timeline, resource plan, and solution scope.

Value Realization Lead, Global Glass Manufacturer - Defined value proposition for client leveraging Accenture leading practice and industry standards and validating with client through a series of working sessions. Developed a Business Case for SAP Implementation defining critical value levers and metrics. Oversaw development of a Business Case tracker to confirm my client’s realized benefits against expected. Worked with the Sourcing & Procurement organization to identify best solution for Punch-out Catalogue for their application landscape Project Delivery.

Project Delivery Lead, Major Paper Manufacturer - Completed an assessment of business process improvement opportunities for Strategic Sourcing department including eCatalog Procurement, Contract Management, Spend Analytics and Master Data Cleansing

Defined the client Product Test Strategy and coordinated activities in Plan, Preparation, and Execution phases. Conducted an assessment of applications to support Indirect Material Procurement. Prepared recommendation and implementation plan.

SAP European Procurement and Materials Management Implementation Specialist, 11/1999 to 10/2004

Jabil – St. Petersburg, Florida

In my role as an Implementation specialist I supported the rollout of Jabil’s global template to 5 plants in 3 years across North America and Europe. I coordinated and prepared a Gap Analysis to document existing procedures and transactions and identify differences with the standard Jabil processes and transactions. Configured and tested the solution to support the key local business requirements. Trained local plant super users. Prepared and scheduled training classes for end users in English and French. Prepared all training documentation. Trained SMEs on additional supply chain management tools internal to Jabil. By rolling out these tools in conjunction with SAP we minimized gaps in processes during the transition.
