Professional Accomplishments:

Booked hotel blocks and rooms for conventions in Las Vegas, Orlando, and other venues for groups and companies. I handled the sports convention, The Super Show, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. I had clients from around the world including the All England Lawn & Tennis Club (Wimbledon), NFL, Dallas Cowboys, NHL, many sports apparel and sports equipment manufacturers. Also handled other conventions and other venues

I also sold tour packages for several timeshare companies in Las Vegas including Wyndham Vacation Ownership, bother the former Fairfield and Worldmark side, Bluegreen, and worked a referral program for Vacation Village Resorts, and sold vacation packages for Polo Towers.

I spent several years in the travel club business working on the sales floor at Portfolio To Paradise, a sales center for Gold Crown Resorts, and at Travel To Go's corporate office renewing memberships, doing R&R calls where I walked the members through the website and their travel clubs. Similarly I did Welcome Aboard calls where I also familiarized new members with what they had just purchased, answered their questions and concerns. I also handled a few hotel and condo bookings and directed other calls to the appropriate departments.

Prior to the travel business I worked in the construction supply business selling diamond saw blades to states and municipalities and sold warehouse supplies, box sealing tape and stretch wrap to businesses. I did my own marketing in those jobs, going to the Las Vegas Convention Center, getting convention books and calling on exhibitors, or in the case of the municipalities, states, and utilities, researching and getting contacts. I even worked neighboring countries and US territories who are in the area code system that many overlook.

In the distant past I worked for nonprofit groups soliciting and collected donations, sold real estate, mostly timeshare at a resort in Colorado, worked at radio stations in Kansas, and supervising mentally challenged clients at a non profit in Kansas..
